In Canada slaves were refered to as "Servants" not "Slaves". The reason for this was because Canadians did not want to
have the name "Slave owner" attached to them. Also the definition of Slave v.s. Servants is so different, because the definition
of servant refers to the person as bein employed and the slave defenition refers to the person as someone in debt to.
